The Best of Don the Conservative

The Best of Don
By Don and presented by David Glenn Cox

Don is one of my biggest fans, he never misses a one of my articles and he low rates them with ones because zero’s aren’t available. I have encouraged Don to write his own articles because Don has a lot to say with opinions not found in anywhere in the mainstream media unless of course you turn on Fox News or listen to Rush Limbaugh. Many of his statements are Fruedingly telling and saying more than the author ever intended to say.

In fact sometimes Don does more to advance my positions with his comments than I do with the original article. So I present to you the best of Don,

"I have seen people die, seen the horror of what a bomb can do to children. YES THEY ARE REAL PEOPLE, but some people make bad choices. Some people need to answer for that."

"There is no lies in the American Dream....considering Dreams are NEVER REAL! America is the land where you are what you make of yourself. Success isnt about big bank accounts, and fancy houses, and what you eat... its about having the freedom of choice to persue your goals."

"No one is turning backs on the poor, however I simply ask the poor stop asking for handouts and attempt to self sustain. There is a difference from providing assistance short term over a difficult time, but when the time extends into the next generation there is a problem."

"I have my own ideas and desire not to spout hate for individuals. I have met President Bush several times, spent time with him and his family, and find the man far from mentaly ill."

"As a veteran they are not numbers to me, but neither are the Iraqi civilians either. The Iraqis who are only getting a sip of freedom that America is drunk over."

"I see someone who misses the objective. The problem with most American workers is GREED. Instead of taking lower wages and understanding a BUSINESS goal is not to employ people and loose money but to make a profit. Workers who think "unions" are still in date and that they deserve more benefits and pay then anyone else in the world find themselves putting themselves on unemployment lines."

"I do not hate my own people. I hate what American people have become."

" I can also relate to the simple life. You seem to make being poor a bad thing. The happiest people I have ever met were all poor. They lived a simple life from the land. Money doesnt make a person happy. Happiness isnt something people can buy unless they are shallow."

"I do not hate my own people. I hate what American people have become."

"Losing homes? Honestly that’s BAD MONEY MANAGEMENT BY THE HOMEOWNER PERIOD! no one forces anyone to sign for a home loan. How can you expect the government to protect someone from dumb choices? Freedom to Choose and honestly I rather have the ability to borrow money then be told no because idiots can not live within means and comprehend basic budgeting."

"American workers are GREEDY for the most part and another reason credit is a problem is basic living within budget is a lost value. People except credit and then complain because the bank believed in them."

"Cry another sob story for the idiots who max credit cards, take variable rate loans out and get foreclosure notices and who strike and get pink slips. booo who?"

"Yes, I BLAME the bottom rung for being the leeches on society. The people who complain there is no work yet drive by McDonalds and turn their noses up to possible other career choices. Poor people pay no taxes, they are a strain on the social services, and are the most likely the ones to stick others with unpaid debt."

"You seems to think CEOS should not be paid the millions of dollars, however they also operate corperations which employ workers. Stockholders can be anyone, and yes I own stock in Walmarts and Home Depot. I also believe in rewarding the people making the choices which benefit the stock holders."

"Instead of being upset for because someone else is happy and rich with success why not trade in the complaints for some self esteem and better yourself."

"I have to laugh!"

"We now want to impose American Enviromental Laws to other nations? Honestly, you complain about the American Corperation yet what about the child labor shops in China that are making items for the US? You want to impose enviromental laws on nations who have no way to monitor or even impose sanactions?"

"1 gallon of petro does not pollute 1,000,000 gallons of fresh water. That is false and please provide a real resource for the claim."

"I do not hate my own people. I hate what American people have become."

"The situation in New Orleans was self made. People choose where to live and also should prepare for emergencies. There was several days notice that the storm was coming or could hit. PLAN AHEAD!"

"Why blame the rich and successful for being so? Should we blame other for someone lack of desire to get an education and get a job? There are plenty of ways to get a college education with loans, grants, scholarships, and then military, vista corps and other chances. How many times do you expect the government to toss a life jacket?"

"Mr Cox, you have great skill in twisting issues around to support your agenda. You also have great talent in satire, and symbolism however I think your own hate for corperations and Republicans tarish the validity of the published works. A more balanced work would certainly get higher ratings by me. Please, continue to tackle the issues as I enjoy every published work you submit, even if I disagree with every word."

Thanks Don! I appreciate the praise but I’m not twisting the issues, I’m telling it straight it’s you that’s twisted. And In you own words buddy boy.

1. Don is just repeating conservative views that conservatives believe.
Notice his hang up on the choice ideal, not based on fact or reality but on that old lie of self made people.
