The American People are Beginning To Get It
http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0711/S00251.htm

“To Bush & Co.... we the people owe no more allegiance than a child owes to the criminal who stole her from her home and now abuses her while posing as her father.”

Mark Crispin Miller

Propaganda is a sprinter, but truth is a long-distance runner.

And at last, the truth may be overtaking the propaganda and the lies.

In the new edition of his riveting book, Fooled Again, Mark Crispin Miller describes a public groundswell that should have Bush, Cheney and the Busheviks very worried.

Truth, having been ground to earth, is rising again.

Despite compelling statistical, circumstantial, anecdotal and eyewitness evidence that two presidential and numerous congressional elections have been stolen, this evidence has been discounted, ignored and ridiculed by the mainstream media and, amazingly, by the victimized Democratic Party and its defeated candidates and even by some progressive publications.

Even so, a sizeable and growing portion of the American public isn’t buying the official and bi-partisan assurances that the US elections are, by and large, on the level, and that the Bush/Cheney regime is therefore legitimate. For example, an August, 2006 Zogby poll reports that only 45% of the population is “very confident” that Bush and Cheney won re-election “fair and square” in 2004. About a third were “not at all confident.”

1. "The media IS the message".
I believe the media is being shamed into resuming their role, slowly. THAT is what's happening here.

Slowly.

2. the media is changing because they aren't being believed anymore.
I sure hope so. since this hopefully means nobody is believing anything they say anymore. except for the ones like my family that are all completely brainwashed religious right wing loons.

3. For some traditional news departments it's too late
CBS will never clear the stench of Limbaugh from the studio.
To me the are already dead.
ABC is linked at the hip to Pat Robertson's CBN.
Another dead newsie.
NBC is tainted by its association with GE.
Not quite dead, but also not worthy of trust.
I'm not sure about PBS. They too whiff of fascist contact.
Maybe if they lay down 20 years of unbiased journalism I'll
look at them again.
Until then it's the international version of the BBC World Service and the internet for news.

13. Theres a range of units
radio shack has one for about 15 bucks.
You can pay as much more as you like.
The built in antenna will get you the strongest stations.
An external antenna - basically a long wire - is much better.
Be warned though, while the BBC is good and the international programming is fabulous,
that the freepers make great use of it too.

11. Did the Bushes help to kill JFK?
As long as assassins get away with murder, every suicide and every accidental death is a potential murder.

A newly discovered FBI document reveals that George Bush was directly involved in the 1963 murder of President John Kennedy. The document places Bush working with the now-famous CIA agent, Felix Rodriguez, recruiting right-wing Cuban exiles for the invasion of Cuba. It was Bush's CIA job to organize the Cuban community in Miami for the invasion. The Cubans were trained as marksmen by the CIA. Bush at that time lived in Texas. Hopping from Houston to Miami weekly, Bush spent 1960 and '61 recruiting Cubans in Miami for the invasion. That is how he met Felix Rodriguez.
