Seeing through the Gomer Pyle façade.

Why are there so many commie college professors? It is because it is communist plot to brain wash our impressible youth into becoming zombies for Socialism? Naw, it’s because leftists are intellectually superior to right-wingers! WHAO! This is so elitist you say? Statistically speaking, left-wingers have higher I.Q than right-wingers with the exception of William F. Buckley or George Will. At this point should I cite my source? Nope! You do that! I’m too lazy and anyway I trust my observations. I have met some Libertarians who are smart cookies, but man, most of the Republicans I have met, the rank and file, are dumb as a rock. Believe me, campaign managers are aware of this and they exploit that social fact. So they have their candidate dumb down their act to relate to the tailgate party crowd at the parking lot of a NASCAR race.
Do you really think the entire Bush malapropism and lack of knowledge of history and names of foreign leaders is organic? Guess what dude? It is all very well calculated to appeal to the unwashed masses. Populism can be 2 fold, you got the Woody Guthrie type of populism then you got the, “Larry the cable-guy” type of populism. Republicans operatives go for the Larry the Cable-guy! They even have candidates study with accent coaches to mock an accent of a local regent for that appeal. Intellectuals ironically ferment anti-intellectualism for mass appeal. Even though we have socialized education in the USA, we have a lot of uneducated people. Some on the left has embraced the, “Lets not be judgmental” ethic. However, if you go that rout, then you will always have totalitarian and authoritarian societies.
If you notice right wing propagandists are now using the term, “Elitist” which not necessarily means rich and powerful, but someone who is intelligent. The perception of smart people being arrogant and hostile to the ignorant must be erased! Why? Because it is not true! The right exploits people’s inferior complex to rally support for their empire.
Not only they divide people by race and class, but by intellect also. This must be stopped.
