1. Gawd help the ruling class if Americans ever learned about the world AND history.
That would be end of the world as we know it.

(And, I feel fine) about that.

2. I think they learn as young people and never keep up after.
One thing we can always know for sure is that things change.

4. Oh yes and I had 5 that knew that word well.
Do you recall that ans. from father 'because I said so? My sister and I used to get that at the end of the endless why. I think my mother and father had had it with us at times. We were also told that that thing on top of our neck was to think with, often.

While it's true the media is giving us less real news, with the Internet, it is possible to seek out sites for global information.

Unfortunately, many people don't care to know what's going on. They are too busy with their job, their family, their hobbies. They only want to be entertained.

I think some are waking up when they pay $3.95 or more per gallon of gas. When something directly affects them, they start paying attention a bit more.
