Sessions GOP Lead on Judiciary, Got Blocked Back in the Day
The GOP has named Jeff Sessions (R-AL) as top Republican on the Judiciary Committee, which means he will lead the fight against all Obama nominees to the courts, and especially to the Supreme Court. It is hard to believe they didn’t know Sessions’ own nomination was blocked amid accusations of racism during the Reagan years.

2. The only good thing I can say about Sessions is....
that he stood up against evangelicals when Judge Roy Moore got thrown out for putting the 10 commandments at Alabama federal courthouse. Sessions upheld the constitution (shocking I know). But Sessions is an extreme conservative and I hope he gets thrown out of the judiciary committee.
