The Problems at Abu Gharib are Not Rummies Fault.
CNN.com reports that shrubbie is mad at rummie for the situation at Abu Gharib prison. shrubbie complains he was NOT properly briefed. This situation is NOT rummies fault -- It is shrubs fault. If shrub didn't know, because he was not properly briefed as he claims, then maybe the incompetant moron should start doing hisown work and stop leaving it to others to brief him. He should READ his briefs, he should pay attention at meetings and most importantly -- He should stop passing the buck and accept responsibility for what goes on in his administration.
(Note: This is NOT to exhonerate Rumsfeld or diminish what happened. But the fact is, shrubbie wanted to be president, he needs to start accepting responsibilities for its failures. Because he is always there to take credit for any successes.)

1. Successes? ?
Really... Anyone see the report that Levi Straus, (an American company?) the Haitian manager of the Levi operation helped in funding the thugs who toppled Aristide... Do not want to pay more than $2 a day.

2. It is BOTH of their faults ...
It is the fault of EVERY Bush supporter who blindly follows this absurdity of a president (and his cronies) into REAL wars based on BULLSHIT and LIES .... without even batting an eye ....

It is the GOP's fault for fostering such a mind-numbing, cultish devotion around their 'messianic' leader ...

NO one gets off on this ...

8. Bingo
People can't have it both ways: taking credit for perceived positive outcomes from policies, then wash their hands of responibility when things go badly as a result of policy. When one creates a climate of fear, violence, and lawlessness, no one has the right to be surprised when these sorts of all too predictable manifestations occur. When Clinton was at the helm, every bad thing that ever happened was his fault, as it was watch and his job to make sure bad things didn't happen. In large part, I agree with that assertion in principle. But repukes can't turn around and then say, oh, well, it's not the GOP's fault that a few bad apples happen to misbehave. Bullshit, this is their watch and the buck stops with them.

3. ...about Bush and Rumsfeld
it seems to me
that Bush needs a very high-level scapegoat about now
and that could be Rumsfeld
it is the only way that Bush
can escapte direct focus on himself
he KNEW about this months ago

so the old question of
'What did he know and when did he know it?"
is desperately being deflected away from the Preident
and onto Rumsfeld

thats my take

5. Bush and Rumsfeld
Rum-head is one of the original signers of the The project for the New American Century manifesto.....can't see shrubby making him walk the plank....but hey , he'd only "drown" in a nice paying weapons consult gig.

4. if anyone did this to truman
they would have been gone-now- but truman had balls. shit he fired god and got away with it. bush doesn`t want to take responsiblity but we should not be surprised, he failed at everything he has ever done in his life. jesus he`s 58 yrs old and still hasn`t grown up.

9. Rummy, Wolfie, Bush, Bremer, Powell.....
They are all culpable - also it is likely that Elliot Abrams is also part of this scandal. When it comes to human rights abuses his foul scent is usually present.
