Austin Statesman: A Rumsfeld resignation would help fix damage of Iraqi

Rumsfeld would best serve the country and the president by taking responsibility for this disgraceful episode and tender his resignation. A graceful resignation would blunt criticism that the president is failing that second big test.

1. I think with all the pressure coming to bear...

...it's going to be difficult for him NOT to resign, but we'll see. Certainly, this administration has surprised us before.
