Like the Wehrmacht, we've descended into barbarity
The treatment of Iraqi prisoners is a consequence of coalition policy.

1. When Rummy waved off the Geneva convention
When they set up Guantanamo, it was obvious that these power-mad idiots were totally out of control.

It isn't even a consequence of their policy. It IS their policy. They are sick sons of bitches.

And I heard some stupid woman talking about it on CBS, and she said, "I think we're putting so much good into that country that some bad had to come out of it. And that needs to be OVERLOOKED, LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE."

She didn't really yell the last part -- that was me, losing control.

3. I suppose she is entitled to an opinion,
But is she even looking at the evidence? This proves to me that we have lost this attempt at colonizing the Middle East.
My god, even the Chimp apologized. He is not ignoring this issue any more.

I bet she would say the same thing if she lived near Treblinka or Sobibor too.

However the Muslim and most of the rest of the world do not agree with her.

Fine, lets keep on ignoring it until we are run out of the Iraq. The sooner the better. This mess is not worth a single American life.

5. This shit has been going on since before we were a country...
We started slaughtering the indigenous people who were dwelling on this land pretty quickly after our arrival.

We brought slaves here from Africa, and owned and brutalized them.

We have supported terrible dictators, and squashed popular uprisings all over the world for many decades. Think El Salvador, Chile, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama, East Timor etc. (Most recently during the last couple of months in Haiti)

We continue to be arrogant fucking assholes, but nothing new about that.

We suck, OK?

2. All we need is for the military to swear
allegience to the Chimp. And we are there! But you are absolutely correct. This comes from thinking the ends justify the means.
