Leave it to the shrub admin and the US media
I have seen numerous stories about the shrubbers and their angst over whether to release the photos for the public to see. What I find so typical in the discussion is the debate between two groups. One group is the "We should see them all now, rather than trickling out" the other being the, "It could make it more difficult for the pentagon to prosecute the 'criminals'."
What I find so typical about this discussion and so incredibly "shrub-like" is that there is no discussion on whether showing the photos on tv and in the newspapers is a violation of the Geneva Convention. But, then again, why should we (The U.S.) allow ourselves to be bothered by international accords. rummy said it best, "The Geneva Convention doesn't apply."
It sickens me that our government has so little concern for agreements we are signatories to -- like the Geneva Convention.
