My letter to the Appleton Post-Crescent (see #6 on this week's Top Ten)

When you run an article or a letter about a serial killer, do you feel compelled to print the voices of people who support him? Of course not. Serial killers, child molesters, rapists: no journalist of integrity feels a need to "balance" a story by drumming up people who support murder and rape.

George W. Bush has caused more suffering than any serial killer, child molester, or rapist in human history; and he's done it with a song in his heart. Why do you feel a need to call on people to defend him? Human evil needs to be condemned, not balanced.
