Farenheit 9/11-Nothing new- NYP gets dig in on Moore

NOTHING NEW

MICHAEL Moore's anti-Bush film "Fahrenheit 9/11" isn't even original. Two years ago, "9/11: The Road to Tyranny," a real documentary by Alex Jones, had most of the "facts" Moore uses in his scatter-shot diatribe. Jones, who is less interested in making money than the self-aggrandizing Moore, released his film for free on his Web site www.infowars.com, where it drew legions of new fans, including producer Curt Johnson, who is hiring Jones as a consultant on a political action thriller titled "Wake Up."

1. Probably right

There may well be nothing new in MM's movie to those of us who have searched out the real news, but think about how many couch potatoes who have only watched faux news are going to see this. Putting it all together in an intertainment format will hit more people than you can count. This is a very important movie.

i definitely agree with you about the ability of MM to hit the mass audience...I downloaded 9/11 RTT when it was still available for free. Lot's of good stuff in it. Like the infamous David Shippers interview. BTW I just listened to Majority report on AA w/ Sander Hicks and he apparently just learned about Shipper's stand on all this. Now how could this be new to Sander Hicks? I'm afraid the RW Jones is way ahead of the curve on this one and he let it out for free. Maybe MM should do the same.
