Wesley Clark: Broken Engagement

VERY good article, showing lot of expertise and wisdom. I won't quote anything, it's worth reading all of it. I had previously mostly negative view of Clark, now reading this made me hope Kerry will find his lost soul and kicks out his current foreing policy team of wannabe neocons, and nominates Clark his Secretary of State. Clark's been apparently injected with lot of Euro political philosophy while he stayed here, and now he's starting to look like a guy who we Euro's can really work with, who actually speaks the same language as the rest of the world. Could it be that Clark had some thoughts about that job when he wrote this article, now could it... ;)

1. I thought your post was going to be about Richard Clarke
but I'm a Wes fan, so I'll be sure to read it.

Perhaps you should change spelling of his last name in your title?

2. Great find, thanks!
This writing took me 15 minutes to read, but I learned more there than in the the four years of history I took at my alma mater.

Truly, General Clark is what America should represent. A thoughful peacemaker that can invoke change through the sharing of thoughts, facts, emotion and moral clarity. Not through the barrel of a gun.

Wes should personally spearhead the American portion of the Iraq transfer or personally mediate the Middle East conflict when Kerry takes office...

3. Gen. Wes Clark
In reading this article I sometimes had to pinch myself to ensure myself I wasn't dreaming. What an intelligent man. I sure hope to see the general in our new administration. I guess all I can say is what a man. Our country is in deep trouble mostly from the *bush administration.

4. Wes Clark would be an excellent choice for Kerry's VP
And, if not that, he'd also be excellent for Secretary of State or Defense.

5. VP is nobody
Unless he's Dick Cheney. I hope if Clark gets a job it's not a ceremonial VP post but working job, State cause based on the article he what the job requires. Why waste a good man.
