Glenn Beck (still) doesn't understand net neutrality. Not even close.

Since the last time Glenn Beck attacked net neutrality as Marxist plot to take over the Internet, he's had ample time to research and discover that the issue is in fact about keeping the internet as an open platform for individuals and businesses (an initiative supported by major corporations like Google, Amazon.com and Facebook). Beck would even have learned that conservative groups like the Christian Coaltion as well as Gun Owners of America and the Parents Television Council support net neutrality.

True to the pattern we've seen from Beck over the years, he has not learned.

On his Monday Fox News show Beck explained to his audience that net neutrality was all about silencing Glenn Beck and others opposed to the Obama administration. To call this missing the point would be generous and a disservice to anyone who has ever legitmately missed a point.

He's making money off of their idiocy. Doesn't need to fact check. If he was held responsible for it he's be out of business.

Same as Rush. He's making money from a bunch of Rubes. Face in the Crowd "Lonesome Rhodes" moment.

And it's the telecoms trying get rid of it so they can have a tiered Internet?

W/ Glenn Beck screaming the opposite of the truth, sane people being too quiet, and the Obama admin meeting Beck closer to his side than ours.

Doing away with net neutrality is a Fascist plot to take over the internet. And THAT is the truth.

I watched that crap yesterday for five minutes. I was clicking around, heard him say "net Neutrality" AND WONDERED HIS TAKE.

he supports my position on it, yet thinks we are trying to do what he says he doesn't want to happen. The weirdest bunch of logic ever.

He's just paid very well to misrepresent it.
