It's not "Obama's Katrina" it's "Cheney's Chernobyl"

Let's not let the MSM hang this on the Obama. It was Cheney's secret energy meetings that gave us the relaxed safety standards for drilling in US waters.

It all goes back to those meetings! That is why Cheney and his daughter have been quiet trying to formulate their plan. They are trying to figure out how to blame Obama and remove themselves from the story.

While that is a valid point about the origins of the problem, most people hang Katrina on Bush based upon the absolutely incompetent and inappropriate response to the disaster (Bush did not cause the hurricane, anymore than Obama caused the oil rig explosion).

Therefore, when someone says this is {Some person's} "Katrina", it would follow they are comparing the response to the problem and trying to quantify the incompetence.
