I just get nailed by the subject line and forget who is posting, only to find an empty screen and a single link - to his website ...

5. I don't mind self promotion, but lazy, repetitive links are just

dull. I never click links that just hang there without comment, and the constant link posters always seem to me to be like litter bugs on the boards. Blech. How could it be funny if it is promoted without comment, much less humor?
