On my latest post,
http://www.addictinginfo.org/2011/07/29/the-lie-behind-“cultural-marxism”-and-a-message-to-foolish-republican-nativists/ I wrote when referring to conservatives:
“Explaining the actual problems these organizations pose to our society would involve work, and you know how conservatives are lazy and aren’t willing to do the intellectual work to make a logical, cogent argument, right?”
One commenter wrote:
“The first is a combination of tone and language, especially in the latter part of the article. You’ve even bolded the worst part for me:
“…you know how conservatives are lazy and aren’t willing to do the intellectual work to make a logical, cogent argument, right?”
That is a generalization, and a gross one.”
What’s wrong with his comment? The problem is that this writer lacks a sense of humor and hasn’t little or no experience with conservatives like Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly and others who constantly stereotype liberals as “lazy”. I thought I made that clear by bolding the words. I even added the tag word, “right”? as a clue, right?
Point is, y’all are going to have a sense of humor if you want to get through the latest bull shit in the United States.
Peace,
