Graham: Another sad episode in a series of sad episodes surrounding Bush
http://www.grahamforpresident.com/news/0307/030731-1.html

<<Washington, DC - "Today, President Bush continued his reckless policy of drilling for oil in America's wilderness treasures, this time by forming a committee to find faster ways for oil and natural gas companies to obtain drilling permits on federal lands in the Rocky Mountains.

"This is nothing more than another payoff to President Bush's big oil buddies. Instead of investing in alternative energy sources such as ethanol, this President continues down his strident, reckless path of destroying our environment to enrich big oil executives who have funded his political campaigns.

"The White House must recognize that its current policies stand to rob our grandchildren of many of the things that make our nation great -- our mountains, our oceans, our forests and our wildlife. Right now, environmental policy is on the wrong course in America. It's a course based on greed, rather than what's right for the future of this country.

"This is another sad episode in a series of sad episodes that have surrounded President Bush's entire energy policy from the first day he took office. I ask President Bush to reconsider this irresponsible plan to allow oil executives to make money off of our pristine wilderness lands in the beautiful Rocky Mountain region.">>
