Sorry...but this is why I think some religious folks are just plain wacky!
ROME, Georgia (AP) -- Tickets at one movie theater screening Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" are being deemed decidedly unholy.

The number 666, which many Christians recognize as the "mark of the beast," is appearing on movie tickets for Gibson's film at a Georgia theater, drawing complaints from some moviegoers.

The machine that prints tickets assigned the number 666 as a prefix on all the tickets for the film, said Gary Smith, owner of the Movies at Berry Square in northwest Georgia. The 666 begins a series of numbers that are listed below the name of the movie, the date, time and price.

"It's from our computer and it's absolutely a coincidence," Smith said. "It has nothing to do with the film company or any vendor. It's completely in our computer."

12. I think God
is trying to tell them something.

First he uses his old standby attention-getter, lightning, to try to dissuade the lead actor.

Then he puts the sign of the beast on those tickets.

But do the xtian fundies get it? Hell no! They still go!

;-)

3. Wonderful!! Bravo!!
Satan hates it when you give humans credit for his work. Clearly he's sending us a signal to give less grief to Jews. What a great guy!!

5. Riposo
Well, their Riposo (5 hour break during work day) goes from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Italy so the Italians will be too busy sleeping and eating to riot or cause trouble.

13. How funny...
oooohhhh...666...devil devil satan satan.

In other manuscripts of the Apocalypse of John, 666 is not the number of the beast.

People are so fricking stupid.

15. I picked up a (second hand) book about the "coming currency crisis"
and it was all about the numbers of the Beast showing up everywhere.

Circa the Carter years.

The funniest one was a picture of a destroyer out somewhere. The picture was terribly grainy, but the one thing you could make out (CLEARLY!) was the number 666 on the side.

That was the clearest part of the picture. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
