I just don't see why *Bush doesn't knock over a few banks...

1.) If he chooses the right banks, it could end up totaling to a tidy sum.

2.) There is zero chance he'd get caught. Heck, there's zero chance any Democratic leader would dare suggest he may have done it.

But, most importantly:

3.) They'd further divide the Democratic Party in to the few that believe Bush could have done it, the even fewer "conspiracy theorists" who would believe their eyes and outright accuse him of doing it, and the vast majority who believe it absurd that a sitting President would do such a thing.

Rove is really missing an opportunity here.

but no one would expect him to, say, oust a democratically elected leader at gunpoint in broad daylight.
