Bush revising history. First "trifecta," now "weapons programs."

Doesn't this sudden use of the term "weapons programs" remind you of Bush's "trifecta" lie about when he would accept deficits? He repeated the latter many times.

Now, when asked about why we have found no actual WMDs, Bush responds that he is confident that we will find that Saddam had "weapons programs." He doesn't even say "weapons of mass destruction programs." It's like he is trying to imply that all he ever talked about was programs and not the weapons themselves, up to and including nuclear. He just stands there smugly and changes the subject right there on camera. How slick, brazen and revisionist can you get?
