What happens when a president or pResident breaks the law,

or even commits treason, but Congress refuses to impeach him. LBN just reported that Air Force One's phone records have been subpoened in regard to the Plame matter. We all know that * will stonewall this one, but assuming the grand jury gets something implicating *, I wonder what will happen to him. Can our criminal justice system indict him? I'm just curious because these criminals have committed so many horrendous crimes, yet our similarly corrupt Repuke Congress refuses to do its duty. How can he/they be brought to justice? Or can they?

1. The Justice Dept can investigate and make recommendations

but I don't think the president can be indicted until he is out of office. I'm pretty sure impeachment is the only option.

3. This is another reason why * has no intentions of leaving the WH.

If he loses, and Kerry's actually allowed to take office, * is vulnerable to a Kerry justice dept.

I'm not sure if DOJ could prosecute Prez for treason! May be up to our terminally corrupt Repub Congress!!
