This must be driving Rove mad, 65% voting for Kerry = voting against Bush
I was listening to few minutes of the Glen Beck program (that's all I can stand). He said that 65% of the people voting for Kerry today were not voting for Kerry but were voting against Bush or ABB.

If that were true it doesn't matter to that 65% how bad they bash Kerry because they feel Bush is worse!

A guy called in right after Beck talked about the 65% and he said that he was part of that 65% and he did not like Kerry at all but he hated Bush!

They can't win those folks over by bashing Kerry because the already don't like him and they can't win them over by touting Bush because they hate him worse than the don't like Kerry!

1. either way
We'll gladly take their vote.

It just means that Kerry will be under heavier scrutiny when he wins by those who voted against Bush.

6. can't use vote for me cause I ain't the other guy
at some point they thought all they have to do is make Kerry radioactive and people will flock to Bush. But they is such a sizable voting block that doesn't really like Kerry but the HATE Bush well that's one fucked equation

7. Yes! Bush can't paint a pretty face on his tumultuous reign.
Bush is the least liked president in history with Democratic voters.

I just hope he doesn't try anything desperate and takes his place in history next to Hoover and Nero.

9. Taxpayers Paying for Bush Campaign Trips
George W. likes to make a speech in between each set of multi-million dollar fundraisers so he can make taxpayers pay for most of the cost of the trip.

http://www.jimhightower.com/air/read.asp?id=11309

Excerpt:

"His Georgeness popped up at the famous Daytona 500 NASCAR race, posturing before 180,000 racing fans and a huge TV audience. If he wants to make a campaign appearance there, fine. But Rove put him in Air Force One, costing us taxpayers about $57,000 an hour for the flight, and they used the plane itself as a prop, dramatically swooping over the racetrack as he departed––a priceless publicity shot dutifully covered by NBC, which broke away from coverage of the race itself to show the prez soaring up and away."

10. I don't get it! I have always liked Kerry.
Overall he has liberal voting record.

He was a heroic vet who fought against an injustice war.

I think the man has the stature of a president and that kind of strong leader aura.

My only problem is needs to get a little fire in his belly to go toe to toe with shrub.

I just do not get it.

13. Only if Kerry learned from Gore
Drop the be nice strategy! Gore could have burried Bush in 2000, but someone advised him to be nice, that the prople don't like mean negative stuff. You see where that got him.

I've said all along the Dems haven't been nasty enough. It's about time to fight back HARD!

14. Yup, Kerry needs little practice tho, its Bush who needs to learn how to
fight on his own.

12. You Don't Get It?
I am part of the 65% also. A lot of us were frustrated with the party "leadership" because they wouldn't stand up to Bush. Kerry is one of them. Heck, he even voted for the war! Turned my stomach that day!

I am going to vote for him and encourage (ok, BEG) other people to do the same, but I surely don't pay attention to anything he says on the campaign trail. I have no faith. Not after I watched him get rolled - voluntarily.

15. They don't need to win folks back
They'll bash Kerry and hope that the 65% that are voting against Bush just won't vote or vote third party. They don't need them to 'come back to the fold'.
