Dave Matthews for President
I propose that he be elected to the office of President of the United States of America. That's it.

He said, in January's Rolling Stone, that he will make sure that Bush is not elected. That's a man I like, plus I love his music - absolutly magical and amazing work.

He's a little crazy, and a foriegn born man (South Africa). What do you think?

3. That idea is DOA
Over 80% of DU'ers oppose allowing foreign-born Americans having the right to run for the highest office in the land. Imagine what the rest of the America thinks.

6. Interesting
I wonder if they oppose it with Arnold in mind rather than Dave? Polls are ambiguous, but I believe that it would be a hell of a fight in congress.

9. Anything to keep him away from his music
:D

No offense meant, Dave fans, I'm just not one of you. I'm sure you'd tell me the same about the Beach Boys, or, God save us, ELO. :)

15. Now guys, I have to differ. He has some quite good music.
It is possible to broaden our musical appreciation. Thanks to some earlier posters I'm ... learning an appreciation of and a discrimination between certain kinds of rap. Baby steps.... But some of them... argh! Others have promise.

:D
