If by "universal coverage," Tommy means, "if you have no money and no insurance and you haven't had preventative care and now that simple, easily treated infection has turned into something and you're bleeding through every orifice and somebody drags you in to an emergency room they can't kick you out," then, yes, we have universal coverage.
I won't argue that we have better health care available in the United States than they do in Iraq -- but the key word is available. Available and accessable are two different things. If you've got a good-paying job, with good benefits, or if you're independently wealthy, you probably can obtain spectacular health care.
But try telling that to the 40-million-plus who are uninsured. And to African Americans and Hispanics (

Hey, Gov. Tommy -- if all of us had the $1.5 to $3.7 million net worth, plus the government-sponsored health plan (ooh! Socialism!) that you do, we'd have universal health care.
