The Scream weapon on its way to Iraq

This is cruel, this is dangerous, this is what our country has become.
Rather then admit we should have never invaded Iraq, rather then admit the truth, that 553 soldiers died for nothing, that we killed 20,000 plus civilians and wounded thousands of soldiers and civilians for nothing, the Bu$h administration merely gets worse and worse, and embeds itself farther into its own lies, and its own arrogance.
And no doubt this device will also be used to quell protesters if they think they can get away with it.

1. it`s a field test for the

use of this weapon here in the usa. instead of testing on our troops as they did during the 50`s and 60`s they will use the iraqi`s. a side note-i read in my paper that a man in our town is dying from agent orange. it took over 30 yrs before it killed him..how long before du kills everyone who fought or lived in the balkans and iraq?

Into a sub species in Iraq..the racism and treatment of the Iraqi people and the mindset of many US citizens that they are less then human is appalling to me..when I hear statements by people who say "lets just nuke the Middle East" it is beyong my comprehension as to how people can think in such a manner
Do these people never do a self examination on their own psyche? Do they never ask , WHY do so many people hate the policies of the US govt so much?? Their arrogance and inhumanity will undo us all.

Anyone remember the heat-ray crowd control weapon that debuted in Iraq last year? It was first tested in the 1989 Panama invasion.

Olympia Snowe sux. As does anyone who supports this kind of thing. As if the Iraqi's have not suffered enough for the past year. Shameful.

I've not seen this in any US media outlet...have they ignored it? Or have I missed it?

It is designed to be a non lethel weapon; certainly turning this thing on and driving a mob or riot away would be better than firing a few rounds into the crowd.
