Owens will not run for Campbell's senate seat.
The governor of Colorado stated that he did not feel it was the time for him to make a commitment to a national race. Mark Udall seems more interested and may throw his hat in the ring for this seat.

I found this out yesterday at a Denver young Dems meeting and heard it on the radio this morning. I don't know how all of you feel about this. It is totally up in the air now. It is also winnable. Furthurmore as for Republicans that may run, people think that Scott McInnis is the most likely choice.

2. Scott McInnis is a right wing freak
if they're looking for a moderate, he's not their man. I think that the candidates from both sides are going to have to do their best to be something their not and fool the voters. I Colorado, nothing is as it seems... dooby dooby, dooby dooby...

4. Ummmm....
well, there was this one guy on the Colorado Springs city council, Charles Wingate. I don't think he could have been too hard-core, but he was kicked off the council for allegedly using city funds to by pizza and downloading porn on his city computer.

5. I hope Marilyn Musgrave gives up her House seat to run!
That whacko @#$%&! would lose in a statewide senatorial run and then we'd be rid of her crazy ass.

Since Owens isn't running, the Republican primaries should be fun to watch. I wonder who Karl Rove will pick?
