6. I've always wondered how it's possible
to be a non self-loathing gay and a Republican. When I think of gay Republicans, I always think of the repressed, fascist kind like J. Edgar Hoover and Roy Cohn. Does anyone know any well-adjusted gay Republicans?

9. Sure, if by well-adjusted you mean...
...white, wealthy, shallow and unconcerned about the world around them.

It's relatively easy for white gay men, at any rate, to clothe themselves in the trappings of power--by staying in the closet and playing the right success games.

I live in the rural area of California still proudly referred to as "Reagan Country." There are plenty of gay Republicans around here, unfortunately.

12. The log cabin boys like many repugs
have this illusion that this is still the party of Ike and Abe. The lc's want to get government out of people's lives, to me one of the conerstones of the gop movement. Where have these people been for the last 20+ years?
