Question about the Boston Globe...
Is there any particular bias at this paper? Left or Right?

1. It's owned now by NY Times, but isn't always friendly to Kerry.

7. Kerry's first campaign manager said there's never been a
hometown paper so hostile to the hometown candidate.

10. Can you supply me with an example?
I looked using the search engine at DU and most of the links are broken.

11. I don't read the paper. Remember when Kerry's mngr quit and
his exit memo was leaked?

That was where I got the info.

3. While it can sometimes seem to veer towards the right ...
it's overall been a left paper. It's right counterpart is the NYPost styled Boston Herald.

4. As a daily subscriber to the Globe ...
... I can tell you that it definitely leans to the rational and, if you want, the left.

It does have regular righty columnists, to lend "balance" to their editorial page (Jeff Jacoby, Cathy Young), but the bulk of the columnists are center/center left.

8. If it's owned by NYT, it's for neoliberalism (globalization) abroad
and a facade of liberalism at home, but will always do whatever helps Republicans win elections in the end, because that's the best way to get extremely lucrative neoliberalism abroad.
