RW email compares Kerry to Rowland?

Was looking through my local Hartford Advocate today (a fairly liberal publication, even though their eventual parent is the Tribune Company...) and a letter to the editor complained that while they called for Connecticut Governor Rowland's resignation, John Kerry did almost the exact same thing with politically connected contractors, lied about it, got caught and then admitted lying about it?

I'm sure it's not true, but where is this coming from?

1. Hmm, does the Right realize that they're making our case for us?

In essence, they are saying it is an insult to be considered "just like a Republican".

Well, for us, it is. But for the rest of the world, don't you think that has the potential to backfire?

If the allegations are true in the letter to the editor? If they are not, then I'll have to fire off a response to them.
