Bad Memories: Shock and Awe
It's been almost year since those horrible opening days of the illegal bombing and invasion of Iraq. I'll never forget the sickening sight of the first bombs raining down on Baghdad, and the equally revolting reaction of the mainstream media, who were so filled with glee that Shock and Awe had finally arrived.

Tell me this has all been just a bad dream.

2. I wish I could tell you it was a bad dream
but I can't. Do you think they'll use it in an ad? Just think, all that bombing and the fires...it could be a better background than the deck of the USS Lincoln. What kind of suit do you think Our Fearless Leader would rent for that??????

A little satire goes an awfully long way with this guy...sigh.

3. I will NEVER forget that day and the anger and outrage I felt for
this administration and the media.

We have a small tv at my office. Some were just curious and watched, others like me were in tears, but one guy was hopping around dancing up and down..yelling shock and awe, shock and awe.

I have never felt such disgust and pure unadulterated hatred as I did for that ignorant, souless man.

I hang my head in shame for what my country has done.

4. The real Shock and Awe
came for the American people when they saw Smirk asking for zillions of dollars more last fall for the failed attempt to conquer and subdue Iraq. I think Iraqis are more pissed than shocked, other than the tens of thousands that were killed in the bombing and occupation.

I take slight comfort in knowing that now Kerry will have to deal with this carnage which he helped create by voting for the illegal invasion.

6. shock and awe americans did not witness what I saw
Sickening. Only problem it was shown in Europe and Asia but not USA the land of free expression.

Crippled children. Girl with side of face blown away.

It was a Slaughterama but not for american eyes.

Aren't we a great nation!

Aren't we great Christians?

Isn't Jesus Christ proud of us?

Aren't we led by prayer warriors?

Had america saw what I observed Bush and crew would be impeached.

I am shamed to be a part of a nation while it hires such evil leadership.

7. sickening, maddening.
What staggered me was not that they did it, but that they had no shame about it. They revelled in it.

God damn them.

8. I remember I was on I-77 in NC, headed to Florida
Talk radio had a reporter who was sitting on top of some hotel watching the bombs fall. I remember you could hear the whistle of the bombs as they fell, the reporter would announce INCOMING!, and then just WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!
