It's as if his inner fat boy is complaining that a classic triple cheeseburger from Wendy's (940 calories and 56 grams of fat, 25 of them saturated, and 2,140 milligrams of sodium) jumped out of its wrapper and forced its way down his unwilling throat, topped off by a pushy Frosty (540 calories and 13 grams of fat, 8 of them saturated).

Mr. Bush has been in office over three years. It's time to start accepting some responsibility.

How many months have people on DU been saying that the Bush mantra is nothing more than "not my fault?" Months? Maybe years!
Now people like Maureen Dowd, who are paid ridiculous amounts of money for their visionary, arch thinking, are finally coming to a realization we embraced a long time ago.
That said, glad they're with us for a change. Better to all be rowing in the direction.
But what took so long, Maureen?
Did it finally occur to you that the fact that Bush is systematically destroying democracy, the country, and the plant, MIGHT be more important that Gore wearing earth tones, or Hillary registering for housewarming gifts?
