I wanna know what's going on in Idiotland and I'd rather read/see it here than go over.

i dont listen to talk radio nor watch fox, nor have people emailed me this stuff, so when I do see it I think its sort of itneresting to see what the other side is up too.

I find it a cheap shot of course, but we do do graphic sendups of Bush, too...so....its sort of interesting to see the right doing the same thing.

I guess you ARE getting exposure from the RIGHT places.

its a private forum that has both left & right posters, so I get the right wing POV from there (and of course from my right wing coworkers, when they talk politics).

If you have a problem with this thread you should contact the moderators and have it either locked, removed, or both.

A Former Senator Dishes on Kerry

Knowing that I served in the U.S. Senate with John Kerry and that, like him, I am a veteran of the Vietnam War, many people have asked me what I think of him, particularly now that he's the apparent presidential nominee of the Democratic Party.

When Kerry joined me in the Senate, I already knew about his record of defamatory remarks and behavior criticizing U.S. policy in Vietnam and the conduct of our military personnel there. I had learned in North Vietnamese prisons how much harm such statements caused.

To me, his remarks and behavior amounted to giving aid and comfort to our Vietnamese and Soviet enemies. So I was not surprised when his subsequent overall voting pattern in the Senate was consistently detrimental to our national security.

Considering his demonstrated popularity during the Democratic primaries, I earnestly hope the American people will soberly consider Kerry's qualifications for the pres idency in light of his position and record on both our cultural war at home and on national security issues.

I just posted it as example of Right Wing trash that is going around. I sent him back an example of how Bush 41 was in bed with Sadaam and "Democratic" committees that he rants against tried to get more information about Bush's cozy relationship with Sadaam but Bush did not cooperate with the commitees.

You need to face the reality that these pictures are out there. This is the way these clowns spread lies, smears, and propaganda. Do you think by us posting these pictures in a thread specifically dedicated to the subject, we will be convincing Dems that Kerry loves terrorists? I'd hope not. Better to examine what is happening than to hide from the reality.

I guess whoever gets off on it should just go for it.

People see this stuff for what it is...it won't change anybody's mind, only strengthen resolve.

In the same light seeing George Bush's first political ad with the twin towers finally made me get off my butt and send $25 a month to the Kerry camp that I had been sending previously to Dean. On top of that I send an equal amount now to MoveOn.org
