14. By what measure?

We "won" the war. Saddam "Reagan paid me to gas my own people" Hussein has been caught. We control the oil fields and (kinda) control the rest of the country. But did we find the WMDs? No. Is the world a safer place? No! Has invading Iraq hurt terrorists? NO!

...inane would be too nice a word. The other day they had one to the effect of: "Will al Qaeda attack the US before the November elections?"

If fearmongering is a goal, then I suppose questions like that are good.
