Help me out with at debate with a right-winger!!
Please provide any links you can to stories involving:

Kerry's vote against the $87B (about how he wanted to reduce the tax cut to pay for it and how some of it went for things like gated communities in Iraq).

Bush's reductions in combat pay and benefits

Bush cuts to the VA

1. Even better- the media flip flops
Wasn't the Great Juggernaut itself sputtering about the controversial(then) 87 billion, that GOP Reps were opposed and pundits much more critical than Kerry and many other opponents of this embarrassing, unspecified giveaway prop to Iraq- then turning into a quagmire.

Now it is a lie-redecorated quagmire with short term memory loss?

2. Why can't YOU just "google" what you're looking for?
got to this website:

http://www.commondreams.org/

scroll down the screen and on the left is a "google" option to search the archives of Common Dreams.

You should find just about anything you want to argue about.

5. Another good site
http://www.workingforchange.com

Check out Molly Ivan's articles.

Also, I don't have anything on those issues specifically at my website, but I do have a bit on Kerry's veto of weapons system and David Limbaugh. --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com/archives/2004_03_07_politicalcomment_archive.html#107883896949038662

3. Here's something.
www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/s819514.htm

From the above:

"Adding to veterans' anger and fuelling a growing sense of betrayal, last week the House of Representatives voted to approve a $25 billion cut in veterans' benefits - including disability benefits - over the next 10 years at the same time as Mr Bush seeks massive tax cuts for a wealthy few."

This week in the Washington Post, there have been various discussions of the Bush ad attacking Kerry's votes on military spending and Iraq. Today's Letters to the Editor has a further explanation of what the truth is.

Also check the local section of the Post for a rundown of votes in the House and Senate regarding spending on the VA. I checked the tallies yesterday and found that the Democratic senators from Maryland supported increased funding for education and for veterans, and that Virginia's two GOP senators opposed both.

By the way, Bush has also been an advocate of cutting or zeroing out programs for hiring new police and firefighters. WAY TO GO, MORON! Send thousands of first responders to Iraq for an indefinite period, and then cut funding for first responders over here. Nice one, Chimp.

6. McCain Says Kerry Not Weak on Defense
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20040319/D81D60SG0.html

As for Kerry, McCain said the senator would have to explain his voting record but he also told NBC's "Today" show: "No, I do not believe that he is necessarily weak on defense. I don't agree with him on some issues clearly. But I decry this negativism that's going on on both sides."
