1. I think the article at that link has it very wrong
Kerry is being Presidential, taking a vacation, staying above the bickering, while "the Bush-Cheney campaign was racing headlong in challenging the Democrat’s credentials."

Makes attacks seem petty and inconsequential. At least to me.

8. The War Chimp takes more vacations than 100 people combined!
At least 58% of the people in this poll see right through this utter bullshit!

9. Bush Vacation
Bush receives threat assessment in July 2001 which apparently spoke of increased terrorist activity.

Takes ALL of August 2001 for vacation.

The administration got caught with it's pants down and the media took a picture from the waist up.

12. Thanks....
I think it's pretty accurate to describe the way the media treats the scandals of this administration.

13. Dude gets a free ride like none I've ever seen
I can't believe what a free ride this dude gets. I remember thinking he got his ass handed to him in the debates, but every time the pundits said "Gore lost". I'm like...huh? What debate were you watching?

Yes, the media treats Dubya so gently, is it because he's..."special?"

5. If Nader . . .
wants to have a country in which he can be a consumer/philosophical/political activist, he should withdraw. ASAP.

14. Okay, so it is now 4:05PM EST...
...and here are the current results:

If the presidential election were held this week, who would you vote for?

* 94108 responses

George W. Bush
39%

John Kerry
58%

Ralph Nader
3%

Uhummm, they claim this is not a scientific vote, but man that beats any poll sample base 90 to 1. So what would happen if the news programs all announced together that next Tuesday would be a mock on-line election. Then they let it run without showing immediate feedback and reported the results say when the polls normally close on the west coast. I predict that such a vote would be taken by more Americans than would actually turn up at the polls on November 2, maybe all 225million of voting age even! Eh, what do Du'rs think. I say Bring It ON!!!!!

15. Kerry on the snow board: not as "Elvis" as Bill Clinton, but close enough
Especially when contrasted with Chimpy falling off his "idiot proof" scooter.
