What has happenned to Joe Scarborough

I used to like him. He seemed to be semi sane amongst all the nuts.

Now all of a sudden its like he's on MSNBC auditioning for an opening at Faux.

he wasn't a right wing shill? No offense but I am curious.

I saw him on a hardball panel during the NH primary defending Dean after the scream.

I tend to watch MSNBC and I just thought he was more, how can I say, MSNBCish.

But I have watched him, and I am positive that most of his shows are filled with RW talking points. Almost as bad as Hannity but not quite as obnoxious. Scarborough is a polite shill. ;)

I was asking what happened to him to make him seem so rational on "Hardball" after hearing his promos for his own right wing show.

He repeated the "Clark testified in support of Iraq" lie LONG after even the laziest reporters knew it was a lie. He's a HO!

He is highly annoying. I never liked him, even when I lived in his district in Florida. He had a weekly local cable show back then. He was and is a weiner.

The sheer number of voices competing in the marketplace demands that you get continually louder, more controversial, and more emphatic in your "coverage" or analysis of the news. The hyperbole and vitriolic rhetoric that pass as editorial commentary these days is a disgrace to the ideals and ethical foundations of journalism. Scarborough and his ilk are merely the most recently casualties of this ever-escalating arms race. Of course, the only real casualties are still the viewing public (who license and support these assholes).

I tuned into one of his early shows, in which he called Hillary Clinton a "contemptable human being." I figured I didn't need to watch any more and I haven't.

I almost NEVER pass up a chance to give credit to Joe the Lori-Killer Scarborough.

Amazing, isn't it? They find an intern dead from BFT in your office, and nothing's done, the parents are quiet (no "Puh-puh-puh-PLEEEEESE, Mr. Scarborough, what did you do to my BAY-BEEEEE????" on Larry King), and they come up with this bogus story about a girl who runs maratons having an "undiagnosed heart condition" which just happened to give her a "dizzy spell" causing her to fall and hit her head on the corner of a desk where she then lay on the floor unconsious for who knows how long while life seeped out of her body....

But we spent 75 megabux to find out a loose-lipped (but hot-mouthed) girl had the President's DNA at the bottom of her laundry hamper....

That's it. While John whatshisface with the big head from Faux news network camped out at the park in D.C. looking for Chandra and hounding Democrat Gary Condit twenty-four-seven during the summer of 2001, the death of this Republican congressional aide during the same period of time in Joey boy's office got a total pass from all the "liberal" media. Go figure.

He seems to have sanity breaks occasionally.

I think that when Joe Scarborough conducts an interview, he's ok, mostly.

It's when he talks directly to the viewers that he's a rightwing extremist.

I've always thought he was awful.

Just affable enough to keep you off guard and then totally obnoxious and partisan about nearly everything.

were somewhat reasonable a couple years ago. Ever since this Iraq war they are all just crazy and totally unreasonable. Joe Scarborough seemed like just a less goverment guy, which doesn't bug me so much. Michael Savage for instance, really questioned the Iraq war until a couple months before we went in, and now he wants to invade everyone. It almost makes you wonder if some of these talk host got "a talkin' to" from Ashcroft or something.

I really liked his show on HBO. I thought pretty much everything he said made alot of sense. I can't believe he likes Bush. I still like him in general, but what in the world is he thinking?

btw - his show on MSNBC or whatever kind of sucks. Disappointing
