I thought this was a joke. It isn't. These are excerpts from "Sisters," written by Cheney in the early 80's. It's Claire of the Moon in the Wild West. Brace yourselves.

Now this is remarkable to me. Here's a right-wing conservative woman with a lesbian daughter she seemed to be ashamed of in the 2000 campaign--and she wrote a lesbian novel! Wonder why the right isn't up in arms....Wonder why they aren't whispering among themselves that Lynne might be a bigger lezzie than Hillary....
