Clarke says that Bush had his finger in his face, intimidating him to....
provide a memo to show Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11. It was not a calm request to find out if al Qaeda and Iraq or someone else was involved - Clarke says he was very intimidating and wanted the information to show Saddam Hussein was involved. There now seems to be little doubt, along with Paul O'Neill's charges, that Bush wanted to go after Saddam from day one, and he eventually did go after Saddam. And he lied to the American people to justify invading Iraq and almost 600 American troops have died and an estimated 10,000 innocent Iraqis have also died.

Where is the truth? Is the truth important in this matter? Will it be less important if Osama is captured? You are damn straight it is important. The justification for war with Iraq was based on a bunch of lies. What type of government do we have where a President can be impeached for lying about a blow job and another pResident can get away with murder and lies to the American people?

that are corrupt to the core.

The LA Times today buried the Clarke story on p. 7 under the somewhat inocuous headline: "Ex-aide : Bush sought Iraq-9/11 Link."
Meantime the editors found space on the front page for stories about The FBI shadowing Kerry 30 years ago and a proposed theme park in Illinois. The message the Times is sending to its readers : You can't handle the truth.

2. At least the story was in your paper....never saw the light of day
in the main OKC paper(The Oklahoma). Frankly, that's not a surprise, since this paper has been rated the worst paper in the country. Not only the worst paper, but the most expensive ad rate in the Southwest.

4. I am sad
as a generous donor to Clark04, that he was intimidated by a man who can't carry his jock strap on intellect, bravery, statesmanship, looks, or resume'.
