Is CSPAN bias or ignorant - specifically what they're airing on Taiwan
Serious question:

I've been traveling a lot over the last 15 years and honestly don't know the history political learning of CSPAN. When I am home, if they have a Repuke, Heritage, AEI... I just flick the channel.

But I know what's going on in Taiwan. CSPAN is airing CTI, which is KMT owned/controlled TV station. Completely bias, obviously. They showed a show with 4 guest and a KMT woman announcer. 1 Democratic Progressive Party Rep and 3 KMT owned/controlled Reps. China Time, UDN, and the other I forgot. All extra footage was of the KMT PIGs, Lien and Soong trying to incite a riot.

Would it do any good to try to contact CSPAN and inform them of who and what they're airing?

Thanks a bunch everyone!

2. Show you how bias, cheating, liars, corrupt the Taiwan media is!

The US stockmarket has been dropping the last few days along with all the worlds markets, before the Taiwan election. Obviously this is the major reason but you don't hear that on the KMT owned and operated Taiwan media.

Why doesn't CSPAN air anything from FTV? Yes FTV is owned by a DPP member but at least they offer and present all sides!

GO TO HELL KMT and all the foreign media services taking bribes from the KMT Nazis and the dirty Mainland Communist PIGS!

Bush has been disgraced by yesterday's 60 Minutes story showing that Bush is a liar and incompetent. The US will drag the world's markets down until it's clear aWol will lose the election because Kerry will bring order back to the world.

3. I've got a project for you whirlygigspin.
I'm also watching KTSF TV. They often have a Asian show which is run by Chinese about Taiwan. I can tell by their Bejing accents that they represent the KMT who invaded Formosa. (but they're Americans). I'd like to see the official United States immigration records showing the actual origin of the 'Taiwanese' allowed to immigrate to the United States. I have my suspicions that in fact these people are KMT Fascist from Mainland China and not actually Taiwanese. I be there's a story here! And of course we won't expect CNN's Whore Mike Chinoy to investigate this. I heard he's down in the Wun Hua District trying to track down the last of the KMT children sex slaves. And not for a story but for 'personal use.'

5. from bad to worse

hi Darker, well today things seem to be going from bad to worse and quickly.

Lien told Mike Chinoy that he would "have trouble" accepting it if the election commission denied a re-count for lack of valid reason...this is extremely dangerous...

So far the KMT haven't been able to come up with any convincing reason why the result should be questioned, save the shooting incident, witch automatically put the armed forces on alert, (Taiwanese army people are always told to go vote KMT)
and thus denied them %of victory...but that still is not a valid reason under election law.

Stock markets around the world have been seriously shaken from this,
and with good reason...Taiwan sits on a pile of gold that keeps part of the world economy afloat at times, not to mention other sectors that would be affected economically...the market hates uncertainty, is certainly true...not to mention the fact that if this crisis remains deadlocked --it could well prove a long awaited excuse for mainland forces to "restore order" to the Taiwan province.

It is well known to everyone here that every taiwanese business person in mainland China have been threatened to vote for KMT or face problems. The KMT reaction is as much in fear of a reactionary China threatening their business interests than anything else.
The "upper crust beauties" in Taipei fear losing much more to their uglier/poorer cousins in the south than just another election.

...real life is always stranger than fiction...hope I don't have to bug out of Taiwan quite yet, but if so, San Francisco, open your golden gate...you might just get a new gold rush, taiwanese style.
