.. all this sugar and love is making me sick (watching 911 commission).

I used to respect Powell. Belafonte was right.

Rice is from Alabama, and the percentage of Caribbean immigrants living in the Deep South in the 1940s was slim and none. Most Caribbean immigrants lived in the Northeast at the time.

It should be noted, my friend, that the corruption and stupidity of white people doesn't automatically make other races and creed more "morally pure".

I would indicated it is a HUMAN characteristic, and that ANY race or creed of people, in power, would probably do much the same (their own variant of it, natch).
