Limbaugh's Nickname of the Day: "Nikita Dean"
He repeatedly referred to Howard Dean during today's radio pukefest as "Nikita Dean" - a blatant reference to former Soviet leader Nikita Kruschev. According to El Rushbo, Dean is more liberal than Vladimir Putin, since Putin is pro-capitalism and since Dean is a Democrat, he's anti-capitalism.

I think the right is scared of Dean - that's why Limbaugh and Hannity have been attacking Howard almost constantly.

over, as they do with all of that windbag's juvenile nicknames.

I heard it too. But I laughed out loud at the time he spent (an hour and a half?) talking about NOTHING but Dean.

Periodically, especially if I'm in the car, I tune in to see if he's talking about Dean. Today was the best day yet.

What's Limbaugh's point? Dean, if anything, could be the greatest saviour of US capitalism. Bush surely is threatening its stability, that's for sure, and that's why the establishment may well bring him down. He need to be there, waiting with the alternative.

Dean is to the left of Putin. Just as FDR and Churchill were to the left of Franco.

Putin is a garden variety autocrat. Putin is as far from a liberal democrat as Rush Limbaugh is from a serious scholar.

First of all, he didn't call him Putin, he called him Krushev.

the entire congress is to the left of Putin.

To me Putin is in the same category of garden variety dictators such as Marcos, Batista, Franco, Somoza, Noriega, the Shah of Iran, et cetera.

He's not a liberal democrat so that puts him to the right of all Western leaders even Berlusconi.
