Help. What were the circumstances behind
the Saddam GHW Bush assasination attempt? I can't find any info on it. I've asked dozens of people and no one seems to know anything about it except that it happened. I've been hearing about it for 3 years now, yet no one has details.

...see if you can find anything on a report from the CIA saying that Saddam wasn't actually involved in it.

Happened in Kuwait in 1993.

President Clinton responded by bombing Iraq since it was proven that Iraq was behind it.

4. I believe it was about '93
when the CLINTON administration uncovered a plot to assassinate George Bush. Saddam Hussein was apparently behind this attempt and the military went in and invaded Iraq, cutting off supplies from the outside world, but they didn't get Hussein. I don't know exactly why. Please feel free to correct me if there are facts that I screwed up on or omitted.
