She had the cojones to say what needed to be said at the time, probably knowing full well that it meant her political demise. I admire people who stand up for what they believe, regardless of the consequences. We need more people like her. I am, in reality though, in the Kerry camp, as I remember him from the 70s when he was just beginning to make inroads into Mass. politics. He and Barney Frank both had radio shows of their own on WBZ in Boston-no call screeners in those days, so everyone got through.
