6. I thought that was more of an effort to stop the criticism
AS the e-mail that Russsert tried to use against Clarke yesterday points out Clarke told them that eventually questions were going to be asked about what happened BEFORE 9/11 and that they could use his work to cover their a**es. Gee why would they feel the need to cover that? Hmmmmmmmmm.......

I agree that that was a really stupid thing to say on many levels the Iraq war being one of them.
