12. I quit listening to that show when Harcourt took over
it used to be one of the best radio music programs EVER.

Now it's like bad college radio.

I swear, I don't know where he finds his "talent"
This is Los Angeles! I have heard some of the best
music that will never be heard, thanks to "hipsters'
like Nick that would not know a musical note if it smacked
him in the head.
No instead we are forced to hear the sounds of animal
screeching as they are slaughtered...I swear that is what this
girl sounds like.
I swear you should listen just to truly grasp the dismal
state of the music "business."

5. I don't know about other PBS Stations in the country but ...
my local PBS channels here in the Tampa area seem to be on a perpetual pledge drive. The programming isn't what it used to be especially during the pledge drives which seem to be more frequent. It's nothing but self help/self improvement type lectures. It's driving me away and I'm wondering if it's not by design. Has the right taken over PBS & NPR and are they trying to destroy it from within with these cheesy gurus?

6. I'm also not happy that NPR here in L.A. fired her..
I read yesterday that the outrage was so intense that they offered her the job back at a higher salary and better time. She said thanks but no thanks and will be working for a station out of Pasadena. I love it. I also am not happy with them (in general) and my time and money go to Pacifica. I also want to do everything in my power to see that the new Air America is extremely successful. It'll be on 1580 am starting on Wednesday.

NPR is in flight mode thanks to Powell Jr. KCRW's Ruth Herschman lost me with her treatment of Loh. And Nick Foodcourt? Ha!

Pacifica needs more transmitters! How about one in the Deep South?
