There must be a relationship between Air America and DU

Air America is our counterweight to Repug talk radio one of our best ways of getting out our message. Air America, like DU when it started, is now facing the same negative attacks from Freepers (ie. Democrats are over-represented, they'll never succeed because this medium favors conservatives, etc.).

Just to reiterate, you should do the following things to support Air America:

1. STOP listening to conservative/Clear Channel stations (or in my case WABC radio in NY). Don't let them continue leading in the ratings)

2. IF YOU CAN, try and get sponsors for the network.

3. Most importantly, whenever you see something on DU and any other forum that could be used against the Repugs (ie. the FR thread on my sig) call up Franken, Randi, Garafolo, or whoever, and tell them about! Drudge and Limpballs rely on their listeners to email them stuff and they regularly check FR for info. Tell Air America to use DU as a source of info.

As well as that thread in your siggy. Oh, the hypocrisy. Gonna pass that one on, for sure. Can't wait for Wednesday!!

These people are such hypocrites. Then there's this gem:

And now they act as if President-bashing is some kind of liberal plague with no precedent that is destroying the nation and comforting terrorists. Here's my personal favorite:

"Nevertheless, we have undertaken a unilateral act of war -- without a declaration of war, without even any congressional oversight or approval. This is yet one more in a long line of Clinton's abuses of power. "

This is just too choice. Printing taht thread to read to my conservative co-worker. He'll immedaitely think it's liberals bashing Bush of course. This is going to be fun.

That rules. Oh man. Why has that not gotten more play on here?

And this is sort of the point of my thread. When Air America launches, and you have someting juicy about the conservatives, CALL WHO EVER IS ON THE AIR ON ARI AMERICA AND TELL THEM ABOUT IT.

I'm almost certain. Anyone know for absolute sure?

Yeah, that's what it is, I dug it up on their website. 1190 AM, WLIB.

Where curiously enough, a Clear Clannel station will be a new Air America affiliate.

620 AM will broadcast Air America programming starting Wednesday.

We need to feed them material and links and facts every day. Everything each of us sends should be identified as coming from DU, so they get in the habit of checking in here themselves.

BTW I was listening to Hannity a few minutes ago (this will be the last time for a while) and he congradulated the Freepers on finding something for him about Richard Clarke. We need that same kind of symbiotic relationship between DU and Air America.

I heard him say that. Right now I put it in the same category as Hannity's bluster about David Kay way back when. I'll believe it when I see it, but still . . .

why did they pick "Air America" as a name when a paintball company already owns the URL www.airamerica.com?
