Boosh has his bags packed....under his EYES! did you see him today?
I just saw a clip of his very sedated-appearing talkietalk today, and where the hell did those insta-bags come from?

I've seen a TON of pictures of that geeb, and as awful as he usually looks, he hasn't had any bags under his eyes, has he?

he's sure sportin' today, though

if those are as recent as I think they are, it shows he must finally be feeling the stress he should have been, ever since his installation.

anybody notice that, or has he had those bags for awhile

he REALLY looked downed out today......heavy dosage of something strong, it looked to me

5. And yesterday
when he referred to the Nato Allowance. I really didn't think the President of Slovakia would have a better grasp of English than the President of the United States, but from the news I saw it's pretty close to true.

Maybe he was tired from drinking Vodka with the newbies from Nato, or maybe it was the stress of dealing with them goddam furriners.

I'll have to try and find a news feed for you, he corrected himself soon after so it would probably be left out of a transcript.

As for why the media doesn't show it, he he, ours does :-)

I'll get back to you if I can find some, but it's there, I saw it three times yesterday.

The full address is on the whitehouse site, and, although I had to vomit twice, I managed to sit through it until he said it. "Today the Nato Allowance, er Alliance, has 7 new members" It's a bit over 3/4s of the way through.

Oh, and Queensland is the greatest :-)

I can't find a copy. It was broadcast on ABC and SBS, the two publicly funded networks in Aus, but they have updated the vid feeds on their websites.

I've asked a connection to see if they have a copy internally and if so I'll provide it, but I swear by my gold star it happened.

Next time I'll have to be quicker with my VCR.

he had a joint press conference with an African leader (sorry, I forgot which one) Having not found DU yet I just had to post snippets of the dialogue to another board I belong to. The African spoke accented yet grammatically correct, indeed elegant English. Bush* by contrast just mauled the language.
I long for the days when he was more embarrassing than dangerous.

17. were you at the protests?
I went to one last summer in front of the Hilton, but they sped by in a long caravan of limos/SUVs/vans

couldn't even be sure which car he was in

was at two Bush rallies in 2000; didn't see him then, either

one had 20,000 "people" there......very Riefenstahlish

talked to a guy that got roughed up for wearing a Nader bumpersticker on his Tshirt.....they knocked him to the ground, and kicked him a few times

good people, though

saw Mike Ditka....he was introduced (to introduce Bush) as Dick Butkus!

that was SO frickin' funny

19. Down the street
I was a block or two away from the main protest group. There were no "free speech zones" so there were people with signs up and down the street. In fact there were people with anti-Bush signs standing right next to people with pro-Bush signs, but everything was very orderly. Many more protesters (several hundred) than pro-Bush people plus a lot of curious onlookers (we don't get too many presidential motorcades in Appleton).
