Did Ohio GOP Chairman Break Campaign Laws?
Edited on Tue Mar-30-04 11:12 PM by Dickie Flatt
From the Kos diaries, we learn that Ohio GOP Chairman Robert Bennett seems to have donated $4,000 to Bush's campaign, double the maximum allowed under federal campaign laws.

This may be more than a simple accidental double-click. Both donations were made on the same day. Bennett, considering his position, should know the laws. He made two donations, both for the $2000 max. Bennett is also a Bush "Ranger", having bundled over $200000 for the campaign. Interesting...

1. Why don't we just
strip the Ohio gop of all its funds for this little escapade? Hit 'em where it hurts. At least get a court to freeze their assets until December.
