Does OPEC want Bush to lose?

It seems now that OPEC is going to go ahead with their production cuts, which means that gas prices are going to go up even more. I am wondering now if the OPEC ministers want to squeeze the supply, drive up price, which would likely be blamed on Bush. Is this too far off the mark, or am I on to something here.

1. Maybe.

I always thought not, because Bush seems more keen than anyone to keep us on Oil, but they probably don't like what he is doing in the Middle East. They may feel threatened by it. He is also quite unfriendly with some of the countries that are part of OPEC.

2. I think at least Saudi Arabia does. They are pissed at this admin.

We are pressing them to use their influence to get OPEC to increase output.
