Also, sometimes as we get older (me) we HAVE to improve our looks.

First time I saw her it was "Ahhh! What have they done to her EYES!!!!!"

Yes she is looking a bit more CNNish for my tastes and I think Rock and Roll Randi is more pleasing to my eye but truth is Randi can bear my children anyday, Shes the finest radio personalty I have ever seen with that sexy, Hard nosed, dont take no guff from no right wing loony mind of hers..Sigh!
Shes Air America's secret weapon. She will have the staying power to keep it afloat for a long time.. shes a seasoned radio veteren and now that shes synicated shes gonna be a big star. Mark my words ladies and Gents. We know how great she is now people who are not as web savy as us can hear her and reach millions of listeners..Shes gonna be the next big radio thing.
I know Air America puts its showcase stars front and center and to my dismay kinda left her in the background but that wont be for long.
GIVE THEM HELL RANDI!

I doubt that Lib radio demanded the change or can people get video through radio? My guess is she was ready for a change and did it herself.

If Air America is to be taken seriously, they can't have a bunch of hippie-looking people as their announcers.

Old Randi looks like a hippie. I like hippies, but the new non-hippie Randi will be taken more seriously by those who don't like hippies.

Besides, it's a pretty look.

Putting on a suit and tie is pretty cool for me because I almost never have to wear one for work.

I have no problem with Randi's new look, and as has been pointed out above, it wouldn't matter if I did.

Plus, I'm guessing that NO ONE tells Randi what to wear. My guess is that she's dressing this way because SHE wants to.

Is that naive of me to think so?

In fact, before I moved, I lived 2 miles from her home. I can tell you things are much more laid back in Florida than they are in New York. In Florida nearly everyone dresses like they're on vacation. Not much "downtown" around here.

Edit: Not much "uptown" either.
